08.03.2026 FORT DE SOTO PARKThe day prior to the Everglades Challenge start, everyone has to get their boats onto the start beach and inspected for the 300-mile journey. It’s a great day to see everyone’s setups and their ingenuity to overcome past years hang ups, as well as a great time to chat with everyone who’s participating or just showing interest in the event. I was able to talk with lots of folks and learn about different routes and ideas on how to get along down the coast and meet some great people there just to check things out. This video is a short clip as I walk down the line up of boats to show you who/what is competing. The video series of my solo attempt will start in two weeks, and since I will be on the challenge all week, no video next Sunday. Slowmotioncharters@gmail.com
