Test sailing the new 3D foiler by Devoti Sailing. The new foiler is 3.8 metres long, is launched from a trolley, and the sail is raised and lowered by a halyard. There is a two piece carbon mast, all spars sit inside the boat for trailing or rooftopping. The target crew weight is 65-85kg (maybe less). The test sailor (who normally sails an ILCA) weighs 82kg with no previous foiling experience. Production is planned for mid-November by leading Olympic dinghy builder Devoti Sailing. A special price of €11,999 ex VAT is offered on the first 300 boats.
